Applicants to the MBA program may qualify for admission based on the following requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognized post-secondary institution, with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 (on a 4.33 scale) or better and
Have one of the following:
- Acceptable score on a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) that has been written in the last five years.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Commerce (BComm) or equivalent.
- A minimum of three (3) years documented professional or management experience with evidence of career progression and relevant education and/or training.
Award recipients will act as MBA Ambassadors on social media and share their experience in the program with 24 related posts per year. Applicants will be able to submit their award application with their application to the MBA program.

This ACBSP-accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from UCW will prepare you for success on the global stage. You will learn how to take challenging situations in stride, apply pragmatic solutions to problems, and ultimately drive the success of your organization through informed decision-making.​ Four terms per year mean that motivated students can complete their degree quicker.
The MBA degree program has been refined to allow you to acquire more specific knowledge and skills in one of three areas by choosing their 3 elective courses from one of the following subject areas: Marketing, Finance or Leadership. The program includes the option to do a major research project designed to showcase your newly learned skills in a real-world setting. Additionally, students may take an optional work experience module.
We also collaborate with digital leaders such as Salesforce (Trailhead), Tableau and IBM to add relevant digital components to our courses. This aligns with our digital vision and keep you updated with upcoming technological trends.

University Canada West is providing $585,000 in awards over 2020 and 2021 to support Canadian women to pursue our Master of Business Administration degree. This award is available to applicants for full- or part-time study, either on-campus or online.
The purpose of this award is to attract and provide financial support for female students in the Master of Business Administration degree program at University Canada West who demonstrate the potential for success as leaders in their chosen careers. Preference will be given, where possible, to candidates who demonstrate leadership experience or potential.
Criteria:
- Available for female applicants to the UCW MBA program.
- Must meet the MBA Admissions requirements.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Priority given to Indigenous applicants.
- Must demonstrate leadership abilities through work experience, volunteer roles, and/or community involvement and motivation to succeed in the program.
